Ms.Cumacho CTE Period:1
My progress and growth I have seen while doing typing club is tremendous. Before I began doing typing club I didn't practice the keys and i would occasionally know where a key is on the keyboard. I did do something similar to this in elementary school but it was not as in depth as this part of the course. I learned how to type by myself I was self taught but I didn't do it in the correct way. I didn't know there was proper placement on keyboard. Practicing was time consuming it was not my favorite thing to do but I knew I had to do it. Some lessons were a challenge others were not. I set a goal of 40+ wpm and I achieved that goal.

I think I am a good leader and I am a responsible student. I used a blue background because I like the color blue. I emphasized that I am a plain person and I don't usually change. It was a challenge when it comes to suing the pen tool. I think after some time I learned how to use the pen tool properly. The outcome of this project was a self illustration of me and I am proud of my work. I have not seen line art before and my project was better than expected for me.
5/11/2018-My First Resume
The initial amount of time a employer takes to review a resume is 15-45 seconds. You need a resume to obtain a interview which may lead into a job. You should always include your name, address, and contact information. The purpose of a objective is to tell your employer your goals. Resumes should be in reverse chronological order. This connects to the real world because resumes are something you need in life to get a interview for a job. A resume is not needed to get a job it is needed to get a interview for a job.
05/18/2018 - On the Cover
I put the text required on my magazine such as hobbies and my favorite foods. I did include different fonts and colors so everything looks different. I did include details about who I am and what I enjoy doing. I think you can get somethings about my personality but not some of it. This assignment would be used in magazines. I would create this if I was a editor. I have seen this in stores around the world having magazines.
5/25/2018 - Typography: Personal Invitation
Before this unit I had no knowledge of Typography. I assumed typography was about assembling text to make a image. Now I think typography is the customization of text. I applied this in this lesson by using different fonts in my invite. I know designing magazines has to do with typography. One business that need typography is Time Magazine. I assured I met requirements by customizing this invite into my own. A person who really does this daily is a magazine designer who designs covers for magazines.
